Suspect arrested in fatal Princess Anne shooting investigation
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Police have arrested a suspect in connection to a fatal shooting earlier this month in Princess Anne.
On May 19th, officers responded to Pine Knoll Drive for a reported shooting, locating one victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, identified as Deshay Cephas, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation led detectives to identify the shooter as Jaquan McCarter, who was taken into custody on Wednesday with the assistance of the Laurel Police Department.
Police say there are no other suspects or persons of interest at this time.
