SU’s Held earns defensive player of the year
SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University women’s lacrosse team will be hosting the NCAA tournament this weekend at Sea Gull Stadium. When they take the field it will be with the conference defensive player of the year, Natalie Held.
This is the second straight year that she has earned the recognition, and was also named a first team All-American last year.
She put up even stronger numbers this season with a career–high in draw controls, groundballs, and number of turnovers caused.
The Gulls take the first for the second round of the playoffs on Sunday at 1 PM against the winner of Haverford and Cabrini.
