Seagulls undefeated season comes to an end in OT

SEAGULL STADIUM, Md.– Washington and Lee defeated Salisbury University in OT in a final score of 16-15 on Saturday afternoon.

The Seagulls came out of the gate red hot and would jump out to a 7-1 lead at the end of the 1st period. The Generals would attempt to claw back by going into halftime only down 10-6.

The 3rd period was where the wheels would start to fall off for the Gulls, the Generals outscored SU 10-2 in the 3rd period.

SU would not go down without a fight as Luke Nestor and Jack Dowd would score the final 3 goals of regulation to send the game into OT.

Salisbury would lose the face-off in the beginning of OT and the Generals would score within less than 2 minutes to win the game.
