Princess Anne house fire under investigation

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – An investigation is underway following a house fire in Princess Anne Tuesday evening.

Just before 7 p.m., firefighters were called to 27039 Fitzgerald Street for a reported fire in a one-story home. Crews were able to control the blaze in approximately ten minutes.

The cause of the fire, which was found to have begun in the living room of the home, remains under investigation. Total damage has been estimated at $40,000, and two adults and one child were displaced and are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
