Portion of Rockawalkin Road in Wicomico Co. closed for crash investigation

HEBRON, Md. – A portion of Rockawalkin Road in Hebron is closed due to a serious crash investigation.

We’re told the crash happened shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday, in the 7100 block of Rockawalkin Road. Deputies arriving at the scene found a single vehicle rolled over and the victim ejected from the vehicle.

The victim was flown to a medical facility due to the severity of the injuries.

Initial investigation has revealed that the driver of a 2009 Nissan Altima lost control, veered off the roadway, and rolled, causing the driver to be ejected.

Rockawalkin Road between North Tourmaline Drive and South Tourmaline Drive is closed at this time for additional crash scene investigation. The road is expected to be open by 12 p.m.
