Police: Man stabbed, robbed in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – An investigation is underway after police say a man was stabbed during a robbery last week in Cambridge.

Officers were called to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Cambridge during the afternoon hours of May 10th for a report of a victim with stab wounds. The victim told police that he had just left the Beverage Barn on Bayly Road on his bicycle when he was tackled off the bicycle by two men. The victim said he was stabbed in the upper left chest during the incident, and the suspects fled with the bike.

The suspects are described as two men, approximately 12 through 14 years old, wearing blue jeans, white t-shirts, black face masks, and black zippered up hoodies. The stolen bike is reported to be a dark navy blue 21 speed Schwinn mountain bicycle with 26 inch wheels, old exercise seat, and a gray Barbie doll basket.
