Pocomoke City Police Department investigating shots fired

POCOMOKE CITY, Md – The Pocomoke City Police Department has confirmed that they are investigating an incident of shots fired late Saturday night.

According to police, around 11:00pm Saturday night in the Moore Street area, there was a shot fired at a vehicle. Police have confirmed that the shooting did occur, but also say that there is no threat to public safety at this time.

The investigation is ongoing, and police will continue to release information as it comes in. Pocomoke City Police are asking anyone with  information on the incident to contact them.

Police have not reported any injuries in the shooting.
