One mission Cambridge searching for donors and more

CAMBRIDGE, MD – One Mission Cambridge is a non-profit organization formed by a coalition of Christian churches to provide a food pantry, resource center, and counseling services to the vulnerable population of Dorchester County, Maryland. It also serve’s monthly community meals and offers a mission center for respite, fellowship, refreshments, and hot lunches.

The organization and the churches focus on efforts to assist folks and improve the community one household at at a time. The goal of One Mission Cambridge is to ecourage hope and well in the clients by creating an atmosphere of safety, friendship and to provide resources to the community to improve everyday lives.

With the new space and expanding the organization One Mission Cambridge will be to include an enlarged cafe-style area for community members to relax, and enjoy peace from being off the street. The new addition will also include client onboarding with one-on-one counseling for the guests that come to the building. The biggest asset they are introducing is expanding the food pantry to welcome even more residents that need help.

One Mission Cambridge Director stated “We encourage you to help us make a difference in our community by donating towards the expansion today! Every little bit goes a long way!!”
