Missing Salisbury woman found dead, homicide investigation underway

SALISBURY, Md. – A homicide investigation is underway after police say a missing Salisbury woman has been found dead.

On Sunday, officers responded to a residence in the 1000 block of Adams Avenue, where they found a woman, identified as Patoria Giddens, deceased. Giddens had been reported missing earlier in May to Salisbury Police.

An autopsy has been conducted, and Giddens’ death has been preliminarily ruled a homicide.
