Marylanders cast their early votes at local polling locations

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. – Thursday marks the first day of early voting in Maryland.

On the Eastern Shore, one of two polling locations saw people bright and early.

At the Wicomico County youth and Civic Center, chief judge, Eric Brewington, said the location saw some steady foot traffic.

“It’s consistent. We do have people coming in voting, we’re here to make sure everybody’s vote is cast and counted, so it’s been a slow day, but it’s been consistent at this point,” Brewington said.

Voting locations will be open until 8pm every day, until next Thursday.

If you haven’t registered to vote yet, now is the time to do it. You can walk into your local voting location with your proof of address and a representative will be able to help you.
