Local law enforcement prepares to keep roads safe during Cinco de Mayo

DELMARVA – Cinco De Mayo is almost here, and a lot of people are gearing up for Sunday’s celebrations.

However, if you plan on consuming alcohol during the holiday, law enforcement is urging you to find a sober ride home. Worcester County Sheriff Matt Crisafulli says this weekend–or any weekend–is not the time to drive intoxicated: “We just have to proactively prepare by having an additional man power on the road to accommodate the influx of visitors which could also potentially increase the cost of service.”

Sheriff Crisafulli added Uber and Lyft are good options for sober cabs.
