Lewes, DEL., – Those looking to pick up English as a second language the Lewes Library will offer ESL classes this summer.

These classes will be offered in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 9 am.
Classes will start on June 4th and run until July 16th.
ESL helps non-English or limited-English speakers succeed in an English-speaking community.
ESL class coordinator Greg Hitz says the classes help them advance in society.

“Aside from feel-good things like that it’s very important for their jobs. You see it in a lot of ways if people are working in a restaurant speaking English helps them move from the kitchen from cook or dishwasher to becoming a waiter” Says Hitz.

The classes are free and open to ages 16 and up.

To register visit The Lewes Library’s Website ,or call 301-275-0250
