Lady Gulls season ends in game 2 of super regionals

SALISBURY, Md.– Tufts defeated Salisbury University in a final score of 4-1 in game 2 of the super regionals on Friday afternoon.

The Gulls would be the ones to score first in this one as Carrie Jacoby would bring in a run with a sacrifice fly. It would remain scoreless until the bottom of the 4th as Tufts would plate 4 runs to jump out in front 4-1.

The lady gulls would attempt a comeback in the 7th but they would not be able to drive anything in. Salisbury softball finishes the season with a overall record of 39-7.
