Kent Island crowned kings of the Bayside, Bucs take down Seahawks 20-14
STEVENSVILLE, Md. – The Kent Island Buccaneers take down Stephen Decatur 20-14 to win the Bayside Championship.
This game was a high-scoring affair and the Seahawks could not slow down the Bucs’ high-octane offense.
The Bucs jumped out to a 9-2 lead at the end of the first quarter. Kent Island would not let up and it was a pretty balanced attack led by Micah Quinn’s eight goals.
Eight different players scored for them, three different players had a least a hat trick, and Quinn alone had five goals in the first quarter and added a few late in the game to put it away.
