Jolly Roger Amusement Park discusses celebrating 60 years in business on Good Morning Delmarva

47ABC – Jolly Roger Amusement Park will soon be marking its 60th Anniversary and open for the summer!

This morning, vice president, Steve Pastusak, stopped by Good Morning Delmarva to tell us more about the 60 years they’ve been in business!

Pastusak has been working for Jolly Roger for almost 30 years and says the park has changed many times since it first began.

He says it started as just a mini golf course and has grown to include two locations!

Steve tells us each year they focus on improving and introducing new rides.

Pastusak attributes the parks success to the hard work of the hundreds of workers.

Jolly Rogers was started and is owned by one person, so to make it to 60 years in business is a huge accomplishment!

On June 4th, there will be a kickoff celebration to start the summer season.

They will be charging $19.64 that evening to represent that start of the company back in 1964!

Steve also says there will be a ton of giveaways at the event.
