Hoops on the Ave. to return to Salisbury for its 3rd year

SALISBURY, Md. – If you’re a basketball fan, you might want to dust off that ball and start practicing, for Hoops on the Ave.

The third annual event will host amateurs and pros on the court, to play basketball.

Those who play in the elite division will be competing for the $2,500 prize.
Co event organizer, Drew Davis, said this passion project has helped bring folks from different communities together, and get them active.

“People are looking for an event in the community, like ours on the Lower Eastern Shore, where cultural activities are lacking,” Davis said. “They’re just looking for a source to be connected and people just want to be a part of something bigger.”
