Good Morning Delmarva’s Kindness Tip of the Day 05.27.2024

47ABC – I’m Ricky Pollitt, a kindness commissioner with kind SBY with your kindness tip of the day.

I’ll be honest, I took this from the Boy Scouts, but as an Eagle Scout, I think I’m allowed to borrow this slogan.

Good deeds can range from holding the door for someone to donating time or money to an area non-profit.

It can be paying for someone’s meal at the drive-through line or writing a thank-you note to a person who’s made a positive impact in your life.

Last week, a partner of ours at Junior Achievement brought our team cookies.

They were delicious, and this person made them only for the purpose of being kind. Salisbury has a population of just over 33,000.

If every person did a good deed daily, imagine how much kindness our city would see.

Just remember: Everyone has kindness in them, and even the smallest act can make a world of difference.

And may kindness find you everyday.
