UPDATE: Frankford man killed in single vehicle crash

FRANKFORD, Del. – A crash late Tuesday night claimed the life of one in Frankford.

Police say at around 10:30 p.m., a Honda Accord was traveling northbound on Frankford School Road, south of Thatcher Street. As the vehicle left a curve, the driver reportedly lost control, and the car veered off the roadway, hitting a fence and a ditch. The vehicle subsequently flipped after hitting the ditch.

The driver, a 45-year-old Frankford man, was reportedly not restrained and was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.
