Emerging Leader: Logan Lankford
47ABC – It is Monday and that means it is time to introduce you to a new emerging leader!
Logan Lankford is a sophomore at Salisbury University and the inaugural student to receive a Fulbright UK Summer Institute Award.
Lankford stopped by Good Morning Delmarva to discuss this amazing opportunity and her plans for her time in Scotland.
She tells us that she will be abroad for 3 weeks studying a history. She says the Fulbright program funds the entire trip and it will be the first time she’s traveled by herself!
She says there is an extensive process to applying for the program, but so rewarding.
Lankford says she hopes to gain skills abroad that she can use in the future and that the program really encourages them to enrich themselves in different cultures so they can be come well -rounded leaders.
