UPDATE: Construction worker injured in Salisbury hit-and-run dies from injuries

SALISBURY, Md. – Maryland State Police say the man hit in a crash last week on Airport Road has died from his injuries.

Police have identified the victim as 64-year-old Thomas Attix of Dover. Attix was initially taken to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional but was later flown to Christiana Hospital for treatment, where he died from his injuries on Tuesday, April 3rd.

The suspect, Jamal Scarborough, remains at the Wicomico County Detention Center without bail.
