Shockley pitches gem in Laurel victory

LAUREL, Del. – Koby Shockley kept the Wildcats off balance for 6.1 innings Thursday, as his Laurel Bulldogs defeated rival Delmar, 7-1.

Shockley, the junior starting pitcher, worked into the seventh inning allowing just two hits and one run.

Laurel (3-5) will play at Woodbridge on Tuesday, while Delmar (4-5) travels to North Caroline Friday.
