According to the Laurel Police Department, investigators obtained warrants for the arrest of a 17-year old male from Seaford for his alleged involvement in the shooting incident that occurred at the apartment complex on Sunday, February 11, 2024.

Police say the teen suspect was found to be incarcerated in Maryland when the warrant was issued for an unrelated matter and will be extradited to Delaware upon his release.

“We would like to thank our law enforcement partners in Delaware and Maryland, and especially members of our community who assisted with providing information that led to this arrest,” Laurel Police said in a press release issued Wednesday night.

The other suspect, 22-year-old Branson Daniels, was arrested late last month on numerous felony and misdemeanor charges.
