One injured in crash involving Wicomico Co. school bus
SHARPTOWN, Md. – A crash involving a school bus injured one in Sharptown Tuesday morning.
At around 8:10 a.m., Wicomico County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Joe Morgan Road at Sharptown Road for a reported crash involving a Wicomico County school bus. Preliminary investigation revealed that the bus reportedly failed to yield the right of way and was hit by another car.
One passenger in the vehicle was taken to TidalHealth for treatment of minor injuries. Police say the car had to be towed from the scene.
A total of 25 students were on the school bus at the time of the crash, however, no one was injured. All students on the bus were taken to school following the initial investigation.
