Man arrested in Pocomoke for assault and possession of a handgun

POCOMOKE, Md. – A man has been arrested in Pocomoke after pointing a loaded gun at multiple people in the area.

According to police, they were called to the 600 block of Bank Street for an assault and disturbance.

The man identified as Andre Jerome Hickman was found after the incident with the loaded gun on him.

He has been charged with 1st and 2nd degree assault. As well as use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

He has been held with no bond.
