Man arrested in connection to weekend shooting in Blades
BLADES, Del. – Delaware State Police have arrested a man in connection to a shooting in Blades Sunday morning.
At around 8:20 a.m., troopers responded to a house on East Fifth Street for a report of shots fired. It was reported that gunshots were fired, and a black car was seen speeding away.
Throughout the investigation, police were able to identify the suspect as 25-year-old Harold Dixon, who was allegedly having an argument with a woman when he fired several shots in the ground outside of the house. A child was also inside the home at the time of the incident.
No one was injured.
Dixon was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent felony, two counts of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, aggravated menacing, and endangering the welfare of a child. He was held at SCI on a $107,000 cash bond.
