Local organization requests donations for veterans

DELMARVA. –  It’s April and that means spring cleaning time is here.

If you have a lot of items that you’re ready to part ways with but don’t just want to toss, the Irreverent Veterans Delaware group is calling on you to donate it to veterans in need.

Organization founder, Branden Zeitler, will be picking up donations from folks from now until May 4th, and said every item donated will go towards a veteran in need.

“There’s a lot of veterans out there that are in need, that also are just transitioning,” Zeitler said.

They’ll accept anything from beds, to dishes, to clothes. To schedule a pickup time for your gently used donations, you can contact them at 302-396-0498.
