Home invasion with five armed suspects under investigation

LAUREL, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a home invasion that took place early Saturday morning.

Troopers responded to a residence on the 6900 block of Sharptown Road after receiving a report of a home invasion at 12:32 a.m. According to early reports, roughly five masked and armed black males entered the home and eventually fled with an undisclosed amount of property. The residence was occupied by two teenagers at the time, neither of whom were injured.
