Good Morning Delmarva tries UMES STEM educator Brad Hartle’s physics challenge
47ABC – UMES STEM educator Brad Hartle returned to Good Morning Delmarva, but this time with a physics challenge for Jake and Rob Flaks.
Brad tested their ability to create what’s called a “Penny Boat” and keep it afloat!
It’s an easy challenge that can be done at home using aluminum foil, pennies, and water.
Rob and Jake each made their own boats out of aluminum foil and attempted to carry as many pennies as they could before their boat sank.
Brad Hartle says he was able to get over 200 pennies on his boat!
