Emerging Leaders: Conor Keightley-Reinhart

47ABC – It’s Monday and that means it is time to introduce you to a new emerging leader.

Conor Keightley-Reinhart is a Crisfield high school student who competed against 55 students at UMES for the Scripps Regional Spelling Bee and won!

This morning, he stopped by Good Morning Delmarva to talk about the accomplishment and preparing for the national competition starting May 26th.

Conor tells us he’s a perfectionist and that he practiced quite a lot to learn all the words for the spelling bee.

He says the 1st time he participated in a spelling bee was in 3rd grade!

Conor is also really excited to meet people from all over at the national competition and do all the fun activities they have planned.
