Easton man charged in home invasion kidnapping case

TRAPPE, Md. – An Easton man has been arrested in connection with a home invasion last month in Trappe. The Talbot County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division has taken 22-year-old Yahjay Greene into custody.

On March 23, Deputies were called to Howell Point Road for a report of shots fired. When they arrived, they found someone walking on the road who said they were kidnapped during an armed robbery at a home on Main Street in Trappe. The victim was able to escape, and wandered until authorities found them. Greene was identified as a suspect, and just this week authorities picked him up in Skyesville, Maryland.

He’s now facing multiple charges like home invasion and kidnapping. Greene is being held at the Talbot County Detention Center without bond. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt. J. Aita at 410-822-1020.
