Dover man arrested on robbery charges

DOVER, Del. – A Dover man is behind bars on robbery charges following an incident early Tuesday morning.

Shortly after 7 a.m., police responded to a reported trespassing in the unit block of West Loockerman Street. It was determined that the 60-year-old victim reported a man, identified as 41-year-old David Pryor, trespassing in the area. Pryor then allegedly punched the victim in his face and demanded he turn over property. The victim complied, and Pryor fled the area.

Pryor was taken into custody a few hours later in the 200 block of South Queen Street. He was charged with second degree robbery, second degree criminal trespass, and offensive touching, and was later released on his own recognizance.
