Buckingham Elementary teacher honored as April Teacher Who Makes A Difference
BERLIN, Md. – Congratulations are in order for our April Teacher Who Makes A Difference.
Ms. Amie Bullock is a second grade teacher at Buckingham Elementary School who is coined with going above and beyond her students. We’re told she always has a positive attitude while providing her students with extra support based on their individual needs and makes a positive impact on their learning.
Colleagues and parents say Amie is a valuable asset to Worcester County Public School and is her students’ biggest cheerleader and advocate.
“The whole child matters and everything you do in education and it’s just been a passion. No matter where you are in the educational journey, some days are tough, some days are a little bit easier, but keeping the focus always on the kid and why you’re there will keep you there longer,” Amie tells us.
Amie was also most recently named the Site Director for the before and after school program.
The Teacher Who Makes A Difference award is brought to you in part by Pam Price and Associates. They helped us surprise the teacher with goodies, flowers, and a certificate.
