Berlin community members look forward to new skatepark addition

BERLIN, Md. – We Heart Berlin is in the next phases of development for the long-awaited skate park.

47abc spoke with one of the community members who spearheaded the project, Tony Weeg, who said it’s been making great progress.

Now, community skaters from all walks of life will come together to discuss what they want to see in their brand new park.

“We’ll have local skate kids come in, and adults, and plan out the ingredients of what the park will be. The skate park company goes back and comes up with a decision and we say yes or no,” Weeg said.
