Annual 4-H Fundraiser

Maryland- The Annual $4 for 4-H Fundraising campaign has once again returned to Maryland.

The event comes around in April and looks to help raise funds for county 4-H groups across the state so they may continue to provide learning experiences for those participating in the programs.

4-H is a nationwide program that looks to educate the youth by providing them access to a wide variety of activities.

According to Jennifer Howell with the  University of Maryland Extension – Somerset County 4-H, funding from campaigns like this are essential.

As 4-H wants to include as many young people as possible.

“We’re Glad to be receiving donations. We have to do our own funding to do these programs with the youth… You know 4-H in Somerset and other counties reaches all the youth. From ages 5 to 18. We are inclusive of all…”
