WiHi girls basketball team moves onto the regional finals

SALISBURY, Md. – The WiHi Tribe remains undefeated after taking down Kent Island 54-40 to move on to the MPSSAA 2A Regional Finals.

The Tribe were in danger of losing their first game of the season and ending their year early. The Bucs took a three-point lead at halftime, but the Tribe made adjustments in the second half to win the third and fourth quarters combined by 17 points.

The Tribe will face Queen Anne’s in the regional final. These two squads met in the Bayside Championship Game in which the Tribe came away victorious.
