Small business owners host first ever spring market on the plaza
SALISBURY, Md. – After much anticipation, the first ever spring market hit the streets of downtown Salisbury, Saturday afternoon.
Dozens of vendors came out to the plaza to show off their finest goods. Event goers listened to music, grabbed a bite to eat and connected with other community members.
Author Alyssa Hazel sold her fiction books at the market, and she said not only was the market a great opportunity to sell, but she also was able to network with other small business owners.
“I think it’s important, especially when we’re all struggling, just to come together and to be together as a community. I think it’s just great overall,” Hazel said.
