Salisbury man arrested on firearms charges following search

SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man is behind bars on charges stemming from a search warrant last month.

On February 20th, detectives with the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office executed a search and seizure warrant at a residence in the 800 block of East Road, discovering a .40 caliber rifle, 9mm firearm, .22 caliber firearm, numerous amounts of ammunition and weapon magazines, a digital scale, quantities of cocaine, fentanyl, and an array of drug distribution paraphernalia.

The primary target of the search, identified as Deandre Ames, was taken into custody at the scene. He is being held without bond on numerous charges, including possession with intent to distribute narcotics, illegal possession of firearms, and other related offenses.
