Police investigating reported robbery in Camden

CAMDEN, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a reported robbery that took place Tuesday evening.

At around 5:40 p.m., troopers were called to investigate a robbery that took place in the 4000 block of South State Street. The preliminary investigation revealed that two teenagers were walking in the area when they were approached by five unknown men. The men then allegedly assaulted the teens, took their property, and fled.

The teens were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
