Ocean City hopes to bring in more employees ahead of busy summer season

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Businesses from across Delmarva gathered in Ocean City to find future employees.

Over 30 different organizations showed up to the Job Fair and Business expo this afternoon.

The event gave job seekers the chance to network with one another and find future employment.

Event Organizer, Amy Thompson, said with the spring season kick off being last week, the job fair was the perfect opportunity to prepare for a successful season.

“It feels like St. Patty’s weekend is when town really opens back up, so this felt good for our members that are looking to hire, as well as businesses that are looking to have their services offered to other people,” Thompson said.
