New bill looks to help reduce damage to crops

Maryland- On Friday the Maryland House of Delegates passed with bipartisan support.

Senate Bill 387, known as  ‘Natural Resources: Anterless Deer Hunting Programs’ looks to allow counties in Maryland who have hosted successful deer hunting programs in the past to continue their efforts.

According to the Maryland Farm Bureau wildlife damage is one of their top priorities as it causes over $10 million dollars in damages annually, and deer overpopulation accounts for over 75% of those losses.
