MSP to increase patrols statewide for St. Patrick’s Day weekend

MARYLAND – Maryland State Police are planning to increase patrols and enforcement on roadways statewide this St. Patrick’s Day weekend.

Starting Friday, state troopers from all 23 barracks will be conducting patrols on roads with high DUI incidents.

On the Eastern Shore, patrols are planned as follows:

  • Caroline, Dorchester, Talbot Counties: Routes 50, 404, 331, and rural roads
  • Wicomico County: Routes 50 and 13
  • Worcester County: Routes 50 and 90

Motorists are urged to avoid impaired, aggressive, and distracted driving.
