GMD talks to Station 19 cast members ahead of season 7 premiere

47 ABC – If anyone is a fan of Grey’s Anatomy, you may also be a fan of one of their spin-off shows, Station 19. It’s an action-drama series that follows a group of heroic Seattle firefighters as they put their lives and hearts on the line. Thursday, March 14, these firefighters kick off their seventh and final season.

At the end of season six, we saw the Station 19 crew attend the Firefighters Ball, but are called away when disaster strikes. Meanwhile, we see one of the main characters, Andy Herrera, played by actress Jaina Lee Ortiz, step into the role of captain, which leads into season 7; jam-packed with action, and drama, and these firefighters are gearing up for a wild ride.

Ahead of the premiere, we sat down with Oritz, and Jason George, who plays Ben Warren, a Grey’s Anatomy alum who turned in his scrubs for firefighter gear, to see what fans are in for.
