GMD catches up with 9-1-1 cast members following season 7 premiere

GMD – 9-1-1, the American procedural drama television series is back on ABC and just in time for episode two after an explosive season premiere.

For those unfamiliar with the show, “9-1-1” explores the high-pressure experiences of first responders who are thrust into the most shocking and heart-stopping situations.

Season seven opened up with the main character Athena played by Angela Basset, and Bobby played by Peter Krause, on their honeymoon cruise. However, of course, as first responders in the show, danger seems to follow them and an explosion occurs following an attack on the ship. While they attempt to help everyone, their team back in L.A. are scrambling to help.

Ahead of the second episode, we sat down with Oliver Stark who portrays Evan “Buck” Buckley, and Ryan Guzman who portrays Eddie Diaz, long-time show-runners who portray first responders alongside Basset and Krause. The stars tell us the explosive premiere was just the start.

Season seven episode two airs Thursday, March 21st, and every Thursday on ABC at 8 pm Eastern Standard Time.
