Foreman scores 1,000, WiHi wins region championship

SALISBURY, Md. – WiHi girls basketball continued their unbeaten season with a 59-54 win over Queen Anne’s in the 3A regional final Wednesday.

The Tribe jumped out to a large lead, and celebrated the 1,000th point scored in the already-remarkable career of Se’Lah Foreman, the first half.

Things got tense in the fourth quarter, as the Lions closed to within three points.

Foreman led the team with 28 points. WiHi will host their state quarterfinal game later this week.
