For All Seasons CEO talks expansion during Senator Van Hollen visit, Plans to enhance essential services

EASTON, Md. – For All Seasons is a safe haven for community members across the Eastern Shore.
Friday, Senator Chris Van Hollen visited the facility to talk about funding and why making the resources available to the community is so important.
“It was wonderful to be able to see what people are doing at For All Seasons,” Senator Van Hollen said. “It’s very important work, providing them great crisis counseling and all sorts of other support.”
Wrap around mental health services, rape survivor counseling and community and professional support are just some of the resources offered at For All Seasons in Easton.
CEO, Beth Anne Dorman, said as mental health support demands continue to be prevalent in society, the facility will actively work to meet clients where they are.
“Mental health needs have grown and as we are seeing the needs grow,” Dorman said. “We need to be able to provide more services, to be able to hire more staff and we’re simply out of space.”
Because of their steady growth in clients, the facility is in need of an expansion. Dorman said that hopefully will be made possible through $2.6 million in funding, courtesy of Senator Van Hollen.
“We are able to say the federal government is behind what we’re doing, the state is behind what we’re doing, and we are able to put our time into the direct services for the community, and reaching into all sectors of our community,” Dorman said.
Showing For All Seasons full support, Senator Van Hollen said securing the funding is one of the first steps towards a brighter future for the organization.
“They’ve been growing. Because the need is so big, and they’re in five counties right now, they need to be able to consolidate some of their operations, so we’re going to be helping them with some of the cost of renovating,” Senator Van Hollen said.
