Final quarter of 2023 brings in over $14.5 million in Cannabis revenue in Maryland

MARYLAND – Maryland Comptroller Brooke Lierman says the state collected over $14,5 million in cannabis sales tax revenue between October and December 2023.

Revenue collected on the Eastern Shore totaled $1,356,151, with a statewide total of $14,576,205.

Quarterly revenues are set to be split among the following:

  • Community Reinvestment and Repair Fund: $5,101,672
  • Maryland Counties: $728,810
  • Cannabis Public Health Fund: $728,810
  • Cannabis Business Assistance Fund: $728,810
  • General Fund: $7,288,102
