Felton woman arrested in connection to multiple shopliftings
FELTON, Del. – A Felton woman was arrested late last week on shoplifting charges.
According to police, the investigation began on October 30, 2023, when officers were called to the Felton Royal Farms for a reported shoplifting. The female suspect fled the store before police arrived, however, police were able to obtain video surveillance from the store, showing the suspect stealing items and not paying for them.
On January 26th, police were called to the same Royal Farms for another shoplifting, learning that the suspect matched the description of the suspect in the October 30th incident. Further investigation led police to identify the suspect as 41-year-old Lisa Cadwallader, and warrants were obtained for her arrest.
Cadwallader was taken into custody on Friday by Dover Police for an unrelated shoplifting charge, at which time she was charged by Felton Police with two counts of shoplifting under $1500. She was released pending a future court date and issued a no contact order with the Felton Royal Farms.
