Drug investigation leads to multiple charges for Hartly man
HARTLY, Del. – A Hartly man is behind bars following a drug investigation.
At around 5 p.m. Monday, law enforcement executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1300 block of Hartly Road as the result of a two-month-long investigation of the distribution of illegal narcotics from the property. During the search, detectives found approximately 48.9 grams of crystal methamphetamine, approximately .86 grams of cocaine, and a digital scale.
55-year-old George Doby was subsequently arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in a tier 3 quantity, possession of a controlled substance in a tier 3 quantity, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Doby was held at SCI on a $40,400 cash bond.
