Cambridge-South Dorchester punches their ticket to the state championship

SILVER SPRING, Md. – The Cambridge- South Dorchester Vikings defeat Fort Hill 60-53 to make the 1A State Championship Game. The Vikings jumped out to an early lead, leading Fort Hill at halftime by 17 points.

But the Vikings would lose almost lose the lead in the third quarter. Fort Hill would pull within four before the Vikings would pull away late in the fourth quarter. LaShawn Moody led the vikings in scoring with 18 points. Cambridge-South Dorchester will face second seeded Edmondson Westside High School for the MPSSAA 1A State Title at XFINITY Center.
