Cambridge City Manager announces resignation
CAMBRIDGE, Md. – The City of Cambridge Manager has announced his resignation.
In a letter to the Cambridge Mayor and City Commissioners, Tom Carroll said that while he was honored to serve as the City Manager for Cambridge, his decision to vacate the position comes from concerns over the direction the City is taking with the Cambridge Harbor Project.
In response, Cambridge Mayor Stephen Rideout spoke highly of Carroll during his time as City Manager, but also said, “As with all transitions that are unexpected, our community and city staff will pass through a period of uncertainty and questioning which is a normal human reaction.”
Carroll’s last day in office is May 17th.
